Steps to reproduce:

1. open advance search at the top of workbench by clicking the down arrow in the search bar
2. click on "Limit search to Project" field to open project picker
3. try to select a project where you have read access but not write access

The "OK" button will remain disabled, meaning it is impossible to search a project where you have read access but not write access. This may be intentional, but one would think that if I have read access to a project, I would be able to perform a search on the contents of that project.
