Feature #7173
closed[Deployment] Add jessie to supported distros list
Description
We are publishing jessie packages, but we don't list jessie as a supported distribution alongside wheezy, precise, and trusty.
The documentation change is easy (see notes).
We don't have a docker.io package for jessie yet, though, which causes a snag in compute node setup. There may be other bits to fix too.

This is good to merge (and personally I don't think it even needed reviewing). Thanks.

Sorry, from IRC discussion I thought we pushed a Docker package for jessie, but looking at the server I see that apparently hasn't actually happened yet. I think you're suggested we don't merge the doc change until those prerequisites are taken care of, and I agree with that.

I have now pushed a docker image for Jessie to apt.arvados.org (version 1.8.2, the latest), so I think this can be merged.
