One last minute comment:

I think we should also update tools/ansible/roles/arvados_go/defaults/main.yml so that Jenkins worker images don't re-download go 1.24 -- should double-check with Brett.

Yes. Jenkins, and install-dev-tools.yml, and install-arvados-cluster.yml.
