A dashboard is meant to give a quick glance overview of what's going on. It's not very quick if it tries to display a potentially unlimited number of items. Right now it does that for at least active pipeline instances. Make sure all lists on the dashboard have a hard limit.

If we make the limit configurable, fine, specify the name. The default value, or the value we use without configuration, should be in the low tens.
