Workbench file upload should allow the selection of directories

Currently (at least on Mac OS X with Chrome) the Arvados workbench upload to collection dialog only allows the selection of files. Any directories selected only get opened, rather than having them be included in the upload for a recursive upload of their contents.
This is unintuitive, inefficient, unlike almost all other upload software, and certainly not what the user wants.
Please allow both directories and files to be selected for upload. Bonus points for a fancy selection mechanism that allows unselecting certain portions of the directory tree.

Additionally, at the end of the upload, instead of just going blank, it should report total upload elapsed time & bytes/MB/GB/TB, as well as average rate.
